⚜️ About You
This role is a great fit if you have:
- Solid experience as a Backend Developer, especially with building APIs using GoLang.
- Python experience is a plus.
- Experience with SQL databases (mainly PostgreSQL); NoSQL experience is a plus.
- A solid understanding of containers (Docker).
- Experience deploying production applications (e.g. AWS, Azure); deployment experience with Kubernetes is highly desirable.
- Solid knowledge of modern coding, testing, debugging, and automation techniques.
- Experience using Clean Code architecture is highly desirable.
- The ability to design an efficient software architecture and implement it.
- A mindset grounded in our values: Integrity, Curiosity, Creation, and Collaboration.
Bonus points if you have:
- Experience with AI in general, OpenAI APIs, machine learning etc.
- Experience with Serverless functions, Azure Functions etc.
- Previous experience on build or buy common reusable components to make it easier to build applications, promotion of reuse and extension wherever is possible. Comfortable with InnerSource best practices and Open Source usage.
- Are comfortable with custom charts, common notification systems, infrastructure automation, authorization service, data discovery / index, container registry, bastion hosts, alerting frameworks, observability tools (like OpenTelemetry, Prometheus, etc.).
⚜️ What You’ll Be Doing
- Implement backend solutions using Golang.
- Work closely with other teams and individuals to plan, coordinate, and seek feedback.
- Setup and improve CI pipelines.
- Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting.
- Work with the business to gather requirements and specifications.
- Use infrastructure tools such as Kubernetes, Terraform, Docker, Helm charts.
- Automate mundane tasks so more time can be spent on the fun stuff.
- Like working in a team, sharing knowledge, mentoring the juniors.
