At DEUS - human(ity) centered AI, we pride ourselves on building machines of assistance: AI systems that extend and amplify human capability and ingenuity.

As an Experience Architect at DEUS, you will be involved in strategy and concept development, researching user and business needs, and designing elegant and easy-to-use solutions to meet those needs. Together with the rest of the team, you will play a key role in seeing a project through from the very first brief to launch and beyond.

Within the team, your role will focus on the desirability and usability aspects of the intelligent product or service. You will work with clients and end users to define scope and dive deep into research. In addition to the desirability lens, you will also collaborate on making services viable and feasible, so we are looking for someone who enjoys tackling complex problems and designing efficient solutions.

You are curious and have worked with tools such as Figma Make, Claude Code, Gemini AI Studio, Cursor, etc., and can bring your ideas to life. Collaboration is key to this role, as it is the foundation of the company.

This role is a great fit if you have:

• Strong communication skills and can clearly document and present design and strategy decisions

• Visual and aesthetic acuity. Beauty can be a powerful tool in creating effective products and services, even if the interface may be invisible

• Deep familiarity with Figma, and experience with tools such as the Adobe Suite, Apple Creator tools, and AI tools from Google, Anthropic, OpenAI, etc.

• Strong knowledge of emerging technology trends and perspectives

• Excellent written and verbal English.

Bonus points if you have:

• Skills in video or audio production, UX copywriting, 3D graphics, physical prototyping, or environmental and experiential design
  

Some of the tasks you might take on in this role (with different focuses depending on which “flavour” of product or service designer you are):

• Research planning and execution, including qualitative user research and market research

• Insight analysis to help define strategy and scope. This includes creating customer journey maps, identifying pain points and opportunities, developing personas, and creating future service blueprints

• Planning and facilitating design workshops in different formats and timeframes such as Design Sprints, design thinking workshops, ideation sessions, and value proposition sessions

• Designing user flows and interactions for complex digital products

• Creating low fidelity and high fidelity prototypes of products and services

• Designing visual interaction or communication elements for products and services

• User testing, validation processes, and client recommendations

• Training and guiding clients on AI prototyping, service design, Design Sprints, design thinking, customer centricity, and designing for AI
