Product Designer [Junior/Medior]

A Coruña, Galicia
Work Type: Full Time

🏛 The DEUS Initiative

We're a team of curious minds who believe technology should serve people. Our mission is to unlock the potential of AI for humanity through solutions that are not just innovative, but also ethical and impactful. We're driven by a desire to simply make things better.

Our name is inspired by deus ex machina, not because we think we’re gods, but because we design AI that steps in to support, solve, and serve.

DEUS also stands for what we do best:

Data | Engineering | User Experience | Strategy

With offices in Amsterdam, Porto, and A Coruña, we collaborate on international projects that challenge us to think deeply, build with care, and design for human good.

Will you be part of what comes next?

⚜️ About You

This role is a great fit if you have:

  • Experience with product design, including concept development, and user research.

  • Ability to design user flows, interactions, and prototypes (lo-fi and hi-fi) for digital products and services.
  • Confidence in facilitating design workshops (Design Sprints, ideation sessions, value proposition workshops, etc.).
  • An eye for visual and aesthetic detail — you believe beauty makes solutions more powerful and effective.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to document, present, and explain design and strategy decisions clearly.
  • Strong collaboration skills and a team-oriented mindset.
  • Experience working with tools like Figma, Adobe Suite (plus points for video/audio, 3D graphics, or physical prototyping).

Bonus points if you have:

  • Background or curiosity in AI and emerging technologies.
  • UX copywriting, system design, or client training experience.
  • Multilingual abilities — excellent English is a must, but other languages are always a plus.

  • Work on exciting and challenging projects with some of our biggest clients across different industries (government, banking, pharmaceutical, energy).
  • Deal with large organizational stakeholders and make a real impact on both their business and their users.
  • Research, analyze, and translate user and business needs into actionable insights.
  • Create customer journeys, personas, blueprints, and opportunity maps to shape strategy and scope.
  • Design and prototype products and services that are elegant, efficient, and user-centered.
  • Plan, facilitate, and run collaborative workshops with clients and stakeholders.
  • Conduct user testing and validation, turning findings into clear recommendations.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-disciplinary teams (data, engineering, strategy) to ensure solutions are desirable, viable, and feasible.
  • Present and document design decisions in a way that inspires confidence and clarity.
  • Stay curious and up to date on emerging design and tech trends, bringing fresh perspectives to the team.

(…and there’s always space to explore what excites you.)
